Shrimp and Roasted Pepper Cream Sauce


• 7-oz. package pasta, your choice

• 12-oz. jar Dunbars Roasted Peppers

• 8-oz. package cream cheese, softened

• 1/2 c. chicken broth

• 3 garlic cloves, chopped

• 1/2 t. ground red pepper

• 2lbs. large shrimp, cooked, peeled

• 1/4 c. fresh basil, chopped


• Prepare pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and oil.

• Keep pasta warm.

• Drain Roasted peppers thorougly.

• Process peppers and next four ingredients in a food processor until smooth, scraping down the sides.

• Pour the mixture into a large skillet.

• Cook over medium temperature for 5 minutes, stirring often, until thoroughly heated..

• Add the cooked shrimp and heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through.

• Remove mixture from heat and serve over pasta.

• Garnish with basil.

• Yield: 6 servings.
